INTRODUCTION

The CBRE Retail Index analyses rental levels, service charges, turnover

as well as effort rates and affordability ratios for a typical shopping

centre in Poland. Understanding our portfolio fundamentals is

essential to the complex real estate advice we provide to clients.

During 2016, CBRE analysed its database of Polish shopping

centres to ascertain how trading and performance data have been

developing over the last few years and how is it influenced by the

changing market conditions.

The CBRE shopping centre database covers 62 modern shopping

centres with a total portfolio size of over 1.9 million sq m of GLA.

With coverage of 20% of the overall Polish regional shopping centre

market we believe that the CBRE Retail Index 2.0 will provide all

players involved in the Polish retail market with transparency on the

indicators that really count.

THIS IS THE SECOND EDITION OF THE CBRE RETAIL

INDEX IN POLAND AND IT AIMS TO BENCHMARK

MEASUREMENTS OF INDIVIDUAL SHOPPING CENTRE

PERFORMANCE.
